I mean, the disappointment for some is understandable, especially for those invested into the franchise or have played a good amount of the OG games.
Retreading familiar again and again ... And again is bound to cause irritation.
Though, it's a judgement only you can make from your personal experience with it.
From that first look, it seems to be going in a somewhat safe but interesting direction nonetheless. There's definitely more hope and anticipation from this reveal than Zero for example ever had before it's release ... Though that was on the WiiU as well.
Let's see if they can leg out their 3rd reboot with another game to follow it up this time
