Depends on which aspect we're talking about; in terms of data streaming, Cyberpunk and FF7 on Switch 2 both fall closer to PS5 than PS4, same for image quality, and in Cyberpunk's case also texture quality, while stuff like NPC density, shadows, and having a 30fps cap were more in line with PS4.

Sure.  But my point is people seem to get crabby and uptight on ps4/pro comparisons, yet to your point above there is a lot of fidelity similarities.

And overall, total package, DF did conclude Cyber, Kena and 7 Remake were all more ps4 like than ps5.  They say as much in their conclusions.

*and I think you are being a bit too generous to the S2, based on what DF is demonstrating.  As an example they point out FF7 remake has lots of NPC pop in...  like the ps4.  So claiming data streaming is closer to the ps5 is super generous.

NPC draw distance isn't necessarily a streaming issue though; it could also be deliberate choice to work around CPU/GPU limits as rendering a lot of character models is expensive, so devs have to carefully control how many can be on screen at once.

For a system like Switch 2, I would expect the CPU or GPU to become a limit before data streaming.
