Also, as people are mentioning NS1 games that require SD cards, the NS2 doesn't support game installation from the physical cart, right?

Even if GTA VI was there day one, it would not fit or be able to run from a NS2 cart because it's far too small and too slow, so it would need to be a GKC or a download only game, and be installed on the internal store.

The NS2 carts are much faster than NS1 carts.

Only around 2/3 as fast as the internal storage or microSD express cards, but still in the same league.

And even if the SW2 doesn't support game installation, they could fill up the cartridge and offer the rest of the data as free download... like many games on many platforms in the last decades.

Final Fantasy VI Rebirth is already reported to be a GKC because it needed to run from the internal storage, as the cart would be too slow to run it.

It was designed with the PS5 in mind, which internal SSD or compatible SSD need to reach 5.5GB/s.

NS2 internal storage is supposed to reach up to 2GB/s and SD Express cards are much slower than that at 900MB/s tops.

We still don't know how fast can the NS2 carts run at but some forums online are suggesting only around 250MB/s (said to be able to reach 400MB/s by some but only tested up to 220MB/s as I was able to find online) based on some tests made last year.

There is no way GTA VI even if it could fit in a cart be able to run from it in any capacity. It would 100% be running directly from the much faster internal storage, like FF7 Rebirth is in the words of its own director.
