So many heartstring-pulling moments with great character growth (a chunk of that in flashbacks, but whatevs, which this movie also does a good job of balancing) and Ryan Gosling was great, as usual. Never thought I’d find myself caring for a rock alien in a glass cube as much as I did, that’s how great this movie was. There was also surprisingly-decent humor between the two of them. My theater was laughing more than a few times at their exchanges. |
