Remake, outside a few stupid side quests, I thoguht was excellent. Rebirth is good as well, but too much fluff.

Yeah, lack of narrative focus/momentum too. Although the character development is stronger. Im super curious to see how it holds up on S2 in the open areas. I feel like this is one of the few games that reflect what we might see from some of Nintendo's in-house studios when they develop for the ground up (Zelda/Xenoblade)... Of course I expect higher image quality from Nintendo compared to what we've seen.

Rebirth will be super interesting.  The ps5 version left some things desired in performance mode but on PC i thought it was brilliant, so very curious how it holds up.  The characters and music are great.  The story at times was really good, it just suffers from poor pacing.  I can't wait to see an original Zelda.  Granted I still really want a WWHD port at 1080p 120 fps, still the prettiest game released imho.

I hope, for those who haven't played it, expedition 33 hits the S2.  I'm of the opinion the game is simply the best turn based rpg since the original FF7 on the ps1, it is that good.  I want more people to experience the game and I want the studio to have more than enough money for their next title.
