Switch 1 Lite (or other Switch 1 models) cannot play Switch 2 games.

The Switch 2 cartridges of Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, Metroid Prime 4 and a few more games contain the Switch 1 version plus the Switch 2 upgrade. If you insert these cartridges into a Switch 1 it only plays the Switch 1 version and ignores the upgrade files.

You don't "play carts", you play (Switch 1) software on these carts.
