I mean don't get me wrong, PC RT is obviously way, way superior but that goes for pretty much everything graphics-wise as consoles are now 5+ years old (plus AMD wasn't exactly at the cutting edge of RT even for the time) and Switch 2's ultimately mid-range portable tech, but Outlaws runs fine, it's a pretty rock solid 30fps on Switch 2 which is standard for the platform, only time I encountered notable dips was traveling by speeder on the jungle planet, otherwise it never seemed to struggle.

Yeah I'm not saying that it runs badly or anything. Just that the RT performance impact may not be worth it. RT doesn't automatically equal better than traditional lighting, especially when you have to run it at lower settings. The same could be said for the PS5 version too. RT on SW2/PS5/XBS is just very low-end.

Low end compared to PC yes, but still very demanding by console standards. Even in console RT you can see substantial gains over 8th gen lighting when done right, as with say the Metro Exodus port.
