Let me help you, you seem confused: 3th gen: NES (1983) 4th gen: Mega Drive (1988) 5th gen: 3DO (1993) 6th gen: Dreamcast (1998) 7th gen: Xbox 360 (2005) 8th gen: Wii U (2012) See? Nobody can or want to make that claim. It is really baffling how you got to that non sensical conclusion from your exchanges in this thread. You are the one that is basically saying that Nintendo can't start a generation for no good reason |
Nintendo can start a generation, the question is why did switch start 9th gen? What makes it a 9th gen console? Just because its the next nintendo system? I think there needs to be a better explanation than that. Its in an ambiguous spot when looking at timing, so you have to look at other factors in order to classify it.
