I personally wouldn't try and drive away. The odds a bunch of people with guns surrounding your vehicle shoot, be it law enforcement, criminals, or just armed citizens, is too high to attempt to flee. Whether their bullets hit you, or cause your vehicle to break down, or they chase you down, or you by chance get away, who knows, but who's going to risk that if you're innocent?
I'm quite curious as to what details the investigation will bring to light in terms of what exactly happened here.

Trump and Vance are already altering the story, NY times has different camera angles. The 'officer' was not in the path of the vehicle when he fired.
She backed up first, let another car pass then wanted to drive off herself when the goons came out yelling at her.
It's murder in broad daylight. Nothing justifies shooting 3 rounds into the car. She was never behaving in any threatening manner.
People all react differently, especially when angry men come out threatening, shouting at you. Plus their whole purpose was to clear the road, so her mindset likely was she had to leave. I would probably be thinking, Ok Ok I'm going, as well.
Claiming self-defense is pure nonsense.
I wouldn't trust any details of any FBI investigation, I'll use my own eyes.
Minnesota officials forced out of ICE shooting investigation as public trust erodes
Alex Tabet, MS NOW Reporter on the ground in Minneapolis and Michael Feinberg, Former Assistant Special Agent In Charge at the FBI joins Nicolle Wallace on Deadline White House in the aftermath of the shooting death of a U.S. citizen by ICE, with the news that federal investigators and law enforcement have chosen to box out state and local law enforcement from conducting a fair investigation into an incident that has caused outrage across the country.
This is all the exact same playbook as what happens daily in the Westbank. Claim self-defense, blame the victim, claim she's a terrorist attempting to ram them, open a mock investigation and wait for the next thing to take it out of the news cycle.

More details since my last post here. Details I was curious to know about as I mentioned in that post.
The driver was told to "get out of the car" multiple times by the ICE officers.
The passenger repeatedly and frantically told the driver to "drive" as they jumped into the vehicle, attempting to getaway.
They make contact with the ICE officer, but luckily don't run him over because he dodges at the last second. He's still in front of the vehicle enough that the first shot goes through the windshield.
Both individuals in the vehicle made bad decisions unfortunately, based on the information we have so far. Very poor decisions, very unfortunately.
Again, not only would I not have driven away, if I were the passenger, I wouldn't have suggested to the driver that we try and get away.
Maybe further detailed information will bring more to light.
