Saw some TVs showcasing the first one in the mall back in the day and it looked good on those, then watched some parts of it (first movie) on my TV one random day it was airing and it was kinda boring to be honest, did not even think about finishing it.
Back before the pandemic I used to go to the movie teather once a week, it got to the point I would watch random movies I never heard about because I was there and was going to watch something anyway.
If one of these was Avatar airing during that time I think I still would not pick it and would pick a random movie instead, it has literally no pull IMO.
Btw that's how I watched Parasite, I saw it there and even as I really don't like horror movies, they are usually laughably bad, and the movie poster and name really had me thinking it would be that, gladly picked it that day by sheer curiosity of why there was a korean horroe movie (lol) available on a brazillian movie theater. Great movie.
