Trump is a fascist warmongering pig who does not respect the sovereignty of other nations. Maduro is a bastard, but that does not justify a sitting president unilaterally (and therefore illegally) invading another nation and kidnapping its head of state. This wasn't about the plight of Venezuelan citizens, because U.S. interventionism has almost never been for humanitarian reasons and is often responsible for countless atrocities of its own. It wasn't about drugs, because the long-ongoing War on Drugs was never about anything other than power (over half a century of it and, just like Prohibition before it, has done jack shit to fix substance abuse problems in the U.S.). This is clearly about raiding Venezuela for its resources and fulfilling Trump's irredentist desires.
Anybody who applauds this lawlessness can go fuck themselves.
