Yeah finding a lifestyle you can stick to long term is the trick. I think I have found mine; been at my healthy weight for 11 years now, back in 2014 I was 97kg/214lbs which is seriously overweight for my height, and given my history a heart attack waiting to happen. That motivated me to lose it as I was very anxious about being the next in my family to kick the bucket at 50. |
I was at 116 at my peak back in 2021 so the past few years is the first time my physical health has been consistently at least fine since before my teen years I think. I lost a ton of weight in 2017 but then started ballooning back up again in the 2nd half of 2018 so more than anything I'm gonna make sure to avoid doing that ever again.
