Good on ya for making a lot of progress last year and getting to a weight you're happy about. Hopefully you manage to maintain it and for me last year wasn't ideal for this since I started 2025 at 83.2 and was intending to lose over 10 that year and reach my final weight goal that being the low 70's but instead I'm now 86.8 so am up YoY cause for a large chunk I was doing poorly with my diet. I feel motivated to make 2026 the year where that happens though so if I can consistently eat well again from this point I should be able to get back to the 70's in just a few months. I've gotten there before a couple times but it didn't last long. |
Thanks; all the best with the new year; remember to try to lose it gradually so you don't burn out and crash out. That's happened to me before, I push myself too hard then end up not being able to maintain it. Slow and steady wins the race. |
I mainly just count calories and try to stick to around 1700 a day which is good for 2-3KG a month lost when I'm consistent with it. The consistency is the hard part though and when I start messing up with it it can take a while to get back on track though I have been consistent with it for entire year stretches earlier this decade so I just need to do that again.
