0% chance Valve has a good deal for ram. Even if they somehow anticipated the Ram price "Armageddon", they are not building +10M Gabenboxes in the first year to guarantee a deal at low price.

This boy will be at least $600, maybe even $800.

I'm not sure they even need a huge number of units to get a suitable deal, they would just have to lock it down well in advance. They might have done just that... but I wouldn't really count on it (at all).
