You'll never get a 1:1 perfect comparison, but I think any sane person would agree that you should probably factor in when one system has a whopping 4 1/2 extra years in which to sell at for a discount price.
Like that's freaking almost the entire product cycle of a successful system like the Super NES in years, lol.
How that's never discussed and how we're just supposed to act like that never happened when it did is laughable.
