The PS2 was replaced long before 8 years passed otherwise it would have sold much more. The wider context. If DS wasn't replaced prematurely it would have destroyed the switch. The wider context. But hey we're there this thread is a shitshow now. Congrats lmao.

Having a contrary opinion to some people doesn't make a thread a "shit show", the idea that no one is allowed to voice the obvious is laughable. 

Everyone and their grandma in this thread knows full well the Switch has outsold the PS2 by a significant margin over the last 8 years and could easily cross 160 million, the whole issue is dependant on a technicality and not actual market demand. Cut the Switch 1 price and let it sell for even another 18-24 months and it would cross 160 million without any fuss. I doubt anyone would dispute that. 

We're just supposed to pretend that's not the case, I'm sorry I'm just calling it as I see it. Some people want to get mad over that, that's on them.
