#43 - Chicken jockey (you guys really haven't seen the memes?)
Extra hint - Not only was the game a huge commercial success, its movie made a ton of money too.
Extra extra hint - It started as an indie game developed by just one guy, who then sold the IP for a lot of money.

#33 - Though this is the 3rd game in this series, it's seen as the first of a "trilogy" of sorts - most fans have only played 3-5.
Extra hint - This JRPG got a pretty significant remaster (remake?) last year.

#32 - Rhythm violence.
Extra hint - Though it's available on just about everything, this rhythm game was primarily meant to be played in VR.

#31 - The time-loop mechanics in this almost makes me wonder if we could consider this the earliest roguelike?
Extra hint - This game is known for going very dark in a franchise typically seen as kid-friendly.

#30 - Go kill Time... no, like, literally. Kill him.

#29 - The 4th entry in this series, it was polarizing for being linear and adding a robot that told you what to do.

#28 - Policemen beat up interdimensional creatures using their own interdimensional creature pets tied on a leash.
