46 and 45 have gone unguessed. I don't anyone has ever guessed Alundra since I started doing this.
46 - Alundra
- The playable character has the ability to enter people's dreams
- This was sort of like the PS1’s answer to classic Zelda.
- The NTSC version was simply titled after the protagonist. The European version added The Adventures of... to the title.
45 - Hotel Dusk: Room 215
- You end up trying to solve everyone's problems whilst trying to solve your own.
- Both this title and its sequel took advantage of the features of the (incredibly successful) hardware it was released on - you even have to hold the handheld console like a book, allowing the dual screens to enhance the visual novel aspect of the game.
- This is named after the establishment where your character, a former detective turned salesman, stays for the duration of the game.
34 - Donkey Kong Country 2
- Unlike the games that come directly before and after this, there's no 'heavier' character in this beloved platformer.
33 - Super Mario Bros Wonder
- The latest game in one of the most popular, long running series of all times.
