And now for the actual next entry on my list: Alan Wake II lands itself at originally my lowest spot for the simple reason that I'm actually still playing it. Honestly it could end up anywhere from #50 to #5 the way it's going right now. In retrospect I should have known that a game that competed with Baldur's Gate III and Tears of the Kingdom for GotY awards would be something truly special - it's pretty much Twin Peaks: The Return mixed with The Last of Us and The Stanley Parable and that's one hell of a cocktail. I'm almost a little scared to ruin the experience by playing too much or too little but either way it's already had some insane high points that make it one of the most interesting games I've played in a long while.
