Yes I agree, my point is that userbase will not massively change that dynamic as the audience for these games have already been investing a playstation/PC as what they want is not offered by Nintendo or at least wasn't

If anything S2 will just eat into playstations sales versus expanding it.

Having said that, the younger S2 market makes viral new hits/trends more likely. Kinda like how Monster Hunter exploded in the west with Worlds, there is always potential for new interests to emerge.

I mean I don't think FF or RE is suddenly recapture its 5th/6th gen popularity the moment it hits Switch 2, as there's a whole generation who missed out on growing up with it in the meantime, but I do expect there will be some among that audience who may give it a try now it hits their console of choice, whereas before they would have ignored it altogether.
