For me this year: Metroid Prime 4, Mario Galaxy 2, Hyrule Warriors, Bananza DLC, Kirby Air Riders

Next year: Fatal Frame 2, Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil 9, Rhythm Heaven

Maybe: Dragon Quest VII, Hades II, Yoshi, Pokémon Z/A

I swear, the negativity in this thread is insane. You people keep expecting dozens of announcements in every Direct even though Nintendo hasn't been announcing far-out games for almost a decade now. We have Pokémon, Hyrule Warriors, Metroid Prime 4 and Kirby Air Riders releasing this year, as well as Mario Galaxy 1+2 and the Donkey Kong DLC. What did you expect? For Nintendo to release two games per month? The games you are waiting for are probably in development, they just haven't been unveiled yet. There are even some games we know will come that weren't mentioned in this Direct. Nintendo never shows their full hand.

Welp, I'll have to join my opinion to yours.

Sincerely, I think most people here reacted out of their guts with the hugest of expectations.

And you can quote me on this, I said it first in this thread.

Nintendo has  their cards much tighter to their chests than they did a decade ago.

Basically, we've got a full schedule of what's to be expected from the beginning of next year until early Spring most likely. No real need to oversurgarcoat the presentation with far away releases.

Now, for the ACTUAL schedule we've got this year, I can understand the differing tastes of everyone in the offerings but let's not kid ourselves here. 2017 games offering on the Switch 1 would be considered a drought in comparison to what we had with the NS2 so far.

And such, in a shorter timeframe too.

As for the games presented itself, I've got my fill with Mario Tennis Fever (Aces is one of the best Mario Sports game, sue me), Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is completely my jam artistically. Metroid Prime 4 finally showed something to surprise people. And I've been served with the considerable amount of 3rd party games shown here like MH Stories 3, RE Requi9m, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, Fatal Frame II Re-remake, etc ...

Honestly, I think there's a lot of people needing to chill their expectations and let Nintendo develop the game they want. We're not getting everyone's wet dreams in the first two years of the console lifespan, be real.
