And with the ps5, yeah the total ram is close, but the ps5 is 400% faster ram.  Again, not sure total ram tells the full story. 

12 gb is a bit on the low side, could hurt on the back half of the S2's life.  

The conversation was about capacity.

Most major games are going to be coming out on Series S for the next several years, by the time support for the S stops it will probably be pretty late in Switch 2's lifespan and by then other limitations like the CPU will probably be the bigger issue.
