Around ten Directs per year, of which three are regular ones, three are partner showcases and four are indie Directs. Plus a variable number of game-specific Directs, such as this year's for Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza. ... As for this specific Direct, I'd say we have already reached the point where gamers care less about the games that will be announced or detailed, and more about whether or not the games will get physical versions. |
Arguably, 2024-2025 has been an odd year for them with those cuz we technically haven't got a general Direct this summer period, nor an Indie World since August last year .... Honestly, don't know when to expect another one of the later at this point.
Anywoo,
It's pretty fair game to expect a lot to be shown but also maybe ... Not that much ? I mean it depends how many games they're willing to cram into sizzle reels lol.
Also partnered games like Hyrule Warriors and Kirby Air Riders are likely fair games to be shown there.
Nonetheless my recent summer game buying spree has made me a happy gamer until the fall season so no rush to salivate over too many new games again haha.
I do know already the game Dear me, I was done by the same team at ArcSystem who did the Another Code remake. It's beautiful and an easy buy as well
