Collective shout have already tried to ban GTA5 and Detroit: Become Human; what's next?  Baldur's Gate 3? The Last of Us? Bayonetta? Stellar Blade? The slippery slope is slipping fast. |
Yeah, thats the problem. The law is a clear line in the sand, but other moral outrage is usually badly defined. If Collective Shout thinks that some games are inacceptable they should try to convice law makers to change the law. But this pressuring over payment processors ends up with ridiculous overreach, as everyone disagrees what is morally OK and in the end the ones that need the money ban all content that someone might find questionable.
To compare Collective Shout with Stop Killing Games: SKG intends to influence law makers and change the law. They didn't go after Visa and Mastercard to pressure game companies.
