| curl-6 said: Turns out that much like both Mario Kart World and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, DK Bananza also started development as a Switch 1 game. They moved to Switch 2 in 2021, which allowed for more extensive destructibility, more detail, and 60fps.

I feel a lot of people were justified in saying that early Switch 2 games look cross gen... Of course totally fine but it's disappointing there isn't yet a first party launch window game built to really showcase the graphical prowess. I'm a sucker for Nintendo demonstrating visual leaps in their IPs, it takes me back to first seeing Luigus Mansion, Metroid and Zelda on the GameCube. The power leap the Switch 2 provides can absolutely give that feeling... Once again hoping that the next Zelda is 30fps
