It seems that way, we'll see.
1. Switch 2 had a record-setting launch for the industry. I knew it would be successful, but I did not see 3.5 million units in 4 days as likely. I don't recall typing out what my prediction was, but it was probably more in the large range of 1.5-2.5 million units.
2. 3DS was a much different experience than Switch, hence why it did well all things considered even after Switch launched. Switch and Switch 2 are similar experiences and Switch 2 is backwards compatible.
This very well could be the final holiday season where Switch sells at least 1 million units.
