My guess is around (probably shortly after) the release of Donkey Kong Bananza. Nintendo showed two big hitters with Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza for the launch period. They don't want to take away the spotlight from them too early. But after Bananza released there is a good opportunity to hit us with another direct.
