Gladly there are people trying to keep those kind of games alive by being back online.

I spent probably an hour or two typing in codes and downloading levels for Mario Maker 1 before the servers got shut down. I grabbed all the anniversary celebration levels since I knew those would be good.

So many levels lost to corporate BS.

I read there was someone that backed up nearly all levels and was making them available online through some DNS that needed no modding on the console.

You can try looking it up on reddit, I never tried it myself.
