You can upgrade the Switch 1 version apparently for $10, rather than having to buy the whole thing again:

Is this officially confirmed? The Switch 1 version is back to its normal price in Europe, but will sure look out for this if it indeed happens.

From the Creator's Voice video presented a few weeks back it sounded like it was a new port, for which they wanted to charge full price for it.
