A "Switch 2 home" could do the same thing (without the mobile option) and it would be a lot cheaper to produce. That's the point.
Nintendo could offer it a lot cheaper without hurting their profit margins and reach additional buyer group, who can't or won't afford a $400+ console. That's the point.
