The issue is that Nintendo is paving the way to do it. If Nintendo wasn't fully intended to do it in the future, they wouldn't have added this in the first place. I can imagine throwing this before the Switch 2 launch is intended to see how people react, as well as check whatever legal hurdles might come out of it. How can they pave they way by doing something they arent allowed to do in the first place? Im sorry, but it sounds more like they are doing something you wish was against the law rather than it actually being against the law.
