2025 is going to be another rough year for the industry.

And I think too much responsibility is already being put on GTA's shoulders.

I don't understand how the industry even sees GTA as a saviour. This will be a successful game, but it will mostly not be additional money. It will be money that is missing for other games as many gamers will instead pick GTA. I also doubt it draws a lot of new gamers. The previous entries might have, but the people it appeals to are now gamers already. So not much new gamers, but a lot of existing gamers will play and pay GTA instead of other games.
