Ah, now I see it. The Joy-Con is for the rotation of the window wiper.

It's very subtle, I also had the same idea when I first saw the trailer.

Initially assumed it was using the gyros, but afterwards thought you could get the same effect by pulling the handle of the wiper and dragging it around. In the end the gyros were confirmed when I saw that Frankenstein Joy-con 2 video
