Switch 2 emulation - will it be a problem for Nintendo this generation too?

That is wildly inaccurate regarding Sony platforms, as it has been said (though they are harder to emulate), but Xbox consoles in fact never did attract much attention from the emulation scene, mainly because most of their games have always been PC multiplatform.

(Which is a shame, because there are games like Lost Odyssey, Panzer Dragoon Saga, the Gears games, that, to be fair, can be bought and run on a Series S/X, but that's not ideal for preservation).

Fair enough. Im not really into the emulating scene except for MAME, but I hear about Nintendo consoles being emulated all the time and never hear about Playstation or Xbox consoles.
