Those 2-3 years of time will be lost, you'll be constantly having to choose which game you want to prioritise and won't be able to fully enjoy all of them. If there's a game you want to play now you should buy it while you have the time to enjoy it. It's unlikely there will be any gaps in Switch 2's release cycle, so the games you likely want to play will be coming regularly. Time is far more valuable than money. |
You clearly don't understand how expensive things are relative to our purchasing power. Consoles and games are made with first world workforce and are monetized as such. Yes, time is more valuable than money. I'm talking about an entire month of worktime just to buy a console!
Imagine if instead of paying 450 USD you have you spend all your paycheck to buy a console. Then, on top of that, you need to buy games. At insane prices, you don't have much choice but to get maybe 1 or 2 games a year for full price, at best. In this scenario what's the issue of waiting 2 years? It's not like I'll be buying new games every month anyway
