It's such a wild move from Nintendo, a company that has been announcing games pretty close to their chest to suddenly give us two games that are to be released in the next year with no clear dates ...
Flabbergasted I am !
Also never listening to any game rumors again, lol. The fact that Kirby Planet Robobot Remaster and FE4 Remake are actual no show tells me this late into the Switch 1 timeline tells me they must've been fabricated in some way ....
Anyway, for the games I was excited to look at !
Dragon Quest I&II looks to be a clear purchase considering the polish and care the previous remake had. Also ... Additional content ? Surprising
New AI The Somnium Files game ??????!!!?? WTF ?! So happy to see one of Uchikoshi's best adventure series to continue like this. Feels like it's gonna be a bit more of a referential work though looking at the close ressemblance with his earlier games.
New Rhythm Heaven of course ! An insta like and purchase for me :) People gonna a field trip with this one of course.
Can't say I've ever been interested in Tomadachi Life but I understand the enthusiasm and I'm happy for people who will pounce the game.
Metroid Prime 4 Beyond looked great ! But also weirdly reserved and intriguing. Guess we're getting an extended trailer during the Switch 2 reveal with more info ?
Weirdest Direct ever imo |
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn launched all the way in March 2019 as the final first-party game on 3DS. Planet Robobot could still have a release this year on Switch or even as late as 2028. I truly think the last first-party games on Switch will be in 2028, 2029 in a stretch. |
Considering HAL is the main dev/studio of the series. They're not know to sit on their games for years like Nintendo does.
It just feel strange that these rumors have been backed up by pretty much the best crop of the leakers club and have yet to show a single tile of actual existence lol.
