For me, this would get a letter grade of a C. There was cool stuff but very little for me to be hyped about (not into Metroid).
On a curve, it would be about a B. A system this old with its successor already announced and about to get a huge Direct is still getting some support beyond the bare minimum.
I predicted a new Rhythm Heaven for over a year now. I'm not surprised it's coming, but I'm surprised it's not coming until 2026 despite being announced already with footage.
It's all but guaranteed to be a Q1 2026 to add more games to a likely quieter time of the year for Nintendo releases.
