The handheld would be more powerful than Vita but maybe not even as powerful as PS3/360 and Wii U. At the very least, the resolution would be worse.
The home console would probably be like a PS4 or PS4 Pro.
I don't see most Wii U ports going to the handheld, because they would probably look worse. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe likely doesn't even exist in this situation. They'd make a new one for the portable and a new one for the home console.
Many IPs more known for home consoles like Super Mario would look better than Switch, but who knows if Nintendo would take the hardware to its limit because of development times? Wii U development time was a real issue for Nintendo, and a generational leap from Wii U would take a while to develop games as well.
Pokémon would likely look even worse, because it's a handheld series first and foremost. It would be an improvement over 3DS but wouldn't be dealing with Switch's specs like in real life.
