Saw the first 10 episodes of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Overall a big step up from Marvel's Spider-Man and definitely a big step up from Ultimate Spider-Man. The animation's pretty good but I'd rather it was either full CGI or 2D animation. Since it's the first Spider-Man cartoon to be rated TV-14 they're not afraid to use occasional profanity, realistic guns or show blood, which means there's a good enough chance the show will feature Carnage without having to tone him down like they have in previous shows. The show's versions of Venom and Scorpion are already nightmarish, so the bar's been set high for however terrifying they make Carnage.

Not sure how to feel about Peter Parker's father being in prison though, or the fact that in this show Uncle Ben dies before Peter's fateful spider bite.
