I don't care about the console wars, I hardly pay attention to console sales. What I do care about is people being dicks to staff like Trunks, I believe he is fair and does as good of a job as he can with the information he has available on a bare minimum wage, without Trunks we would have no estimates at all, nor would we have any news articles, it is fair to say he is a vital reason the site is still alive. He never gets confrontational with anyone and yet somehow I see multiple people even on this website being a dick towards him, it is very annoying.

By all means, discuss the estimates and respectfully debate them, provide new information when available and Trunks will listen, but don't be a dick about it, if you want to be a dick about it then feel free to go and create your own estimation website. Now I didn't have to respond like this, I'd strongly suggest that you move on and reflect, which you should have done after my 1st post.

What's annoying here is you using your moderator status to throw insults around and derailing a thread instead of using the private messaging on this board.

It's his duties as a moderator. It's not hard to be respectful of the people who run this site and do their best to be accurate. Btw, he didn't call out any specific individual in his original comment, but you made it personal by getting triggered.
