That in itself is fair observation regardless of what was expected of Nintendo. It's just calling a spade a spade.

Doubt it. If they want third parties to announce their games they would have prepared a joined showcase. More likely than not, the first wave of third parties would be ports, but regardless a 1 hour length presentation with dozen of third party ports new to Nintendo's would immeditely demonstrate there will be many new games to play
