Selling 60 million in North America, Europe and ROW will be a breeze for Nintendo. It's the only major handheld in the market and will be like that for a while. I can see an argument of Steam Deck 2, and possibly new Sony and Xbox handhelds getting some market share from Nintendo, but in current states of affairs Switch 2 has absolutely nothing going against it. On the Japanese Market? They have, well if we ignore Mobile gaming market which is in fact the biggest gaming segment in Japan
Only about 7 million gamers plays primarily on PCs in Japan, and another 7 mi plays on both PCs and Consoles
That's said PC gaming has grown substantially in the last years, so maybe this can take away some of Switch 2 sales. Still there is no way for Switch 2 selling less than 25 million, 3DS sales are the absolute floor for this console and the odds of it selling above 30 million are really strong
