Fine, if you said it that way. Let's ask this way: how do you think people read it? And to be clear: I don't think you personally have a major influence, but a lot of social media posts add up to a vibe. And the fine details and separations you lay out here tend to get lost if condensed into a general vibe. Some right-wing influencer takes this and gives it a certain spin on top - and this is how you lose people. I mean you can be angry as much as you want, but it will change nothing. So go on as you like. I don't want to criticize you, but going this way of anger and blaming will not make you happier and mentally more healthy. It is always more productive to focus on things that you actually can control. Makes one feel better. And to be clear: I am falling into this trap often enough. I am just a human after all. I just have given up mostly on the US years ago and just look at it with the stance: maybe with a lot of luck things can improve. So I don't feel as much feelings either way anymore. It still influences me for other things. But I try to remove my feelings from things outside of my control. Yelling at election results is like yelling at clouds for raining on you: pointless. So raging on about the voters isn't helping you now and potentially damaging in the future. |
