Well, Wikipedia currently lists 73 million votes for Trump (probably will be more once all is counted). You will not win them back by demonizing them. And yes, you are not in a presidential campaign. But all of what is said online contributes to an overall picture of the left.

Just look at it from another angle: your views of Trump and MAGA is also influenced by stupid takes you see on the internet of his fans. And people he attacked probably will not vote for him or people aligned to him for the foreseeable future.

This goes both ways. More polarization is not going to help you win in the future.

Unless you're telling me that every single Trump voter also has the stance of...

  1. We should cut off all aid to Ukraine.
  2. Let Israel finish off Palestine.
  3. Trump can bring peace to Ukraine in a day and/or soon as he comes into office.

1/2 are disgusting stances to take and results in thousands more dead but "oh the feelings"

3 is objectively a stupid thing to believe, I'd put it almost the same level as being a Flat-Earther.

  • Can't criticise Trump voters as a whole
  • Can't criticise a specific group of Trump voters - We're here right now.

What's next? Can't criticise a single person for anything if he voted Trump? You're both being ridiculous.
