Only after they're gone, do we realize how godful their predictions were. It seemed so outlandish when it started back in 2016-2017, but he genuinely had some of the best predictions now in hindsight, especially if you compare them to the conservative takes we had.
As for my own take, I don't see the Switch eclipsing itself into nothingness even by the point the successor will release. Current buyers are to my knowledge more price conscious and less tech savy than most here. It's an ideal jumping point for younger gamers interested in console gaming and those wanting an affordable way to get into Nintendo ecosystem at this point in time.
37M+ looking more than possible imo.
Nonetheless if the results, it'll be difficult to see how the sucessor will have any chance to replicate such a result.
