They really are nasty. But there's a rhyme and reason to it, I don't know why, but I do love me some antiheroes! It's very well written, and the side-stories don't take up too much of the screen time, which is something that tends to happen to modern TV-shows.

Yes, I'm sure Beth had "rhyme and reason" to tell Jamie to kill himself. She's a fucking heartless cunt who makes every scene with her unbearable (other than one scene where she got beaten within an inch of her life).

That's why I like The Punisher so much. Almost every time Punisher finds someone who genuinely deserves to die he takes them out.

Have you watched all of season 3? That's where we learn of her hatred for Jamie, and his feelings of not belonging. There actually is rhyme and reason to it, given the context, and for someone who's worked in psychiatry for the past 11 years. And, to be fair; Jamie tells her the exact same thing when he picks her up in his car and she holds a gun to her own chin (I believe he says something like "do us all a favor and do it"). I find Beth and Jamie to be equally heartless, but also like both characters. Not to mention Costner, who is at his very best in this show.

Additionally, as someone who hasn't spoken to his own sister and parents in about 4 years, it even makes sense from an anecdotal point in my case. Families are terrible sometimes.

I watched "From" season 1 today, really enjoyed it. What I didn't enjoy is finding out that I'll need SkyShowtime to finish both From and Yellowstone - since none of them are available on Netflix past season 1 and 3, respectively. Oh, and as a bonus, I got an e-mail today where Netflix informs me that they're increasing their prices. Again. This is getting really annoying, not to mention expensive. Once Stranger Things, Arcane, and a few other shows are over, I'll be canceling my Netflix subscription after about 16 years. I cancelled Disney+ last month, and I really don't miss it.
