SD Express is 800 mb/s. Should be plenty fast for games, loading will be longer than ps5 at 7,000 mb/s but going from 2 seconds to 12 seconds, no impact.
The S2 will need user upgraded storage, but to be fair the same is true for the ps5 and Xbox.
