Falcom was for the longest time possible the most loyal PS supporter. They were all in on Vita and even after it died, it seemed like eons until the first Ys released on Switch as a late port. And that was NISA doing the port, not Falcom itself. Led to the strange situation, that the japanese version of Ys VIII Switch released last. But apparently this was going well and so they picked up on Switch and are now fully supporting the system.
