So was the PS5's lack of a holiday boost due to supply constraints and not demand? Because otherwise this doesn't really make sense to me. The PS5 is almost selling as well now as it was at Christmas.

Either that, or the boost was just minimal because the consoles mostly being shipped out to China instead of landing with japanese customers. Since China doesn't celebrate Christmas, not much of a boost happened during that period. In fact, the PS5 sold less in any week of december than in November, which is highly unusual.

Gonna be interesting to see if we judge an important increase during the New Lunar Year period because that's China's  big holiday moment.
