PC is a better option for me since both Xbox and Sony put most of their games on it (day one from Xbox, late ports from Sony usually except for some 3rd party hats which end up on there day one), plus most of the 3rd parties (many of which skip Xbox hardware), not to mention multiplayer is free on PC. Also, while indies certainly thrived the last years on console, the PC is the main indie platform in an amount that isn't even comparable. The consoles often only get indie games years later if they are successful.
